FAA Approved Simulators for the Win!

Finding an existing FAA Approved simulator can help reduce the cost of your certificate. They are also down right handy for learning instrument procedures. This is the simulator I used for my IFR certificate. It is an FAA approved flight simulator and as such I was allowed to count 10 hours of my IFR training towards my certificate. It’s a lot faster to pause the approach to discuss what’s happening or to reset the plane for another approach than to chase yourself around the sky!
