A new website!

Pardon our dust while the new website goes live! I’m still figuring out all the hookups and links and how to tie things together as I start on this new adventure of web publishing. I’m working on a podcast that I soon hope to start putting online for everyone. It’ll be some combination of aviation profiles of your everyday general aviation pilot, commentary, or some other aviation topic it seems like I want to talk about. I hope you’ll join me on this journey as we all continue to grow as aviators! Let’s go flying sometime!

FAA Approved Simulators for the Win!

Finding an existing FAA Approved simulator can help reduce the cost of your certificate. They are also down right handy for learning instrument procedures. This is the simulator I used for my IFR certificate. It is an FAA approved flight simulator and as such I was allowed to count 10 hours of my IFR training towards my certificate. It’s a lot faster to pause the approach to discuss what’s happening or to reset the plane for another approach than to chase yourself around the sky!
